Then read Genesis 9:12-16<br \/>\n12 And God said, This is the sign of the covenant I am making between me and you and every living creature with you, a covenant for all generations to come: 13 I have set my rainbow in the clouds, and it will be the sign of the covenant between me and the earth. 14 Whenever I bring clouds over the earth and the rainbow appears in the clouds, 15 I will remember my covenant between me and you and all living creatures of every kind. Never again will the waters become a flood to destroy all life. 16 Whenever the rainbow appears in the clouds, I will see it and remember the everlasting covenant between God and all living creatures of every kind on the earth.<\/p>\n<div class=\"firstweek-shadow\">\n<h3>Thoughts on Noah:<\/h3>\n<\/div>\n<p><a title=\"Noah and the ark\" href=\"http:\/\/lovingchristmas.com\/blog\/2007\/12\/05\/noah-obeys-december-5th\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Noah<\/a> experienced both the justice and the grace of God, and his obedience and relationship with God made a difference for all of mankind.<\/p>\n<p>Sometimes it is hard to believe that one person can make a measurable difference, but there are individuals who illustrate this truth to every generation. Noah was one such individual, and the Bible is full of the stories of just such men and women.<\/p>\n<p>Who will you be? What might result from your faithfulness and character? Why not determine to find out?<\/p>\n<p>While it is true that God is just, and that there must be consequences for sin, the triumph of the cross of Christ is that God has made promises to save and have mercy on all who will turn to Him in trust and faith. The rainbow is a sign that He always keeps His promise.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<h3><a title=\"rainbows\" href=\"http:\/\/www.christiananswers.net\/q-eden\/ednks006.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">What Causes Rainbows?<\/a><\/h3>\n<p>Rainbows:&#8221;A rainbow occurs when raindrops and sunshine cross paths. Sunlight consists of all the colors of light, which add together to make white illumination. When sunlight enters water drops, it reflects off their inside surfaces. While passing through the droplets, the light also separates into its component colors, which is similar to the effect of a glass prism.
