Perhaps seeing the difference as degree, but are we causing some emotional confusion when we make happiness and joy so alike?<\/p>\n<p>Pursuing happiness is a major activity, and we like to say &#8220;whatever makes you happy&#8221; as a kind of modern blessing pronounced on most anything. As a motivation that concerns most everyone, we even have research and studies on what &#8220;happiness&#8221; is, including how it is experienced by people, and how to attain it.<\/p>\n<h3><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-medium wp-image-3677 aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/www.lovingchristmas.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/12\/d4ffd2ab74b8b544611094657ba8146d-300x291.jpg\" alt=\"daily affirmation\" width=\"300\" height=\"291\" \/><br \/>\nJoy is not given as much attention<\/h3>\n<p>Joy seems much more accidental, with an idea of a feeling of sudden bliss or gladness.
